Eligibility

Minimum qualification for polytechnic admission:

A pass in the 10th Standard (SSLC) Examination or any other equivalent qualification.

Qualification for lateral entry:

For Lateral Entry into the second year (III semester of the course) The candidates shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary (Academic or Vocational) Examinations of 10 plus 2 pattern, with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as the subjects as study.

or

A Pass in ITI 2 YEARS TRADE

or

HSC (Academic & Vocational) A pass in HSC or equivalent conducted by Higher Secondary School in Tamil Nadu HSC Board Schools

or

Any other qualification recognised as equivalent to a pass in HSC or Tamilnadu Higher Schools by the Director of Secondary Education Board, Tamilnadu.
